Volunteer with us!

Without our more than 60 volunteers, the resource center would deliver services, but certainly not at the volume we do today.

Volunteers make it all possible. Volunteers are the face of the Desert Spring Resource Center. They are superheroes!

There are five commonly cited core values shared by those who volunteer:

  • compassion
  • integrity
  • respect
  • dedication
  • teamwork

Volunteers demonstrate a commitment to:

  • helping others
  • ethical behavior
  • valuing diverse perspectives
  • reliability
  • collaboration

Want to join our superheroes who embody all these values?

Contact Peggy Morache at 702-449-6787 to learn how you can make a difference in our community.

We welcome new volunteers, offer all sorts of jobs to fit your interests and skills, and  flexible schedule opportunities to fit your life.

If you don’t believe we work with superheroes every day, just ask any one of the 1,250 people who rely on us for food and resources every month!

We have partnered with the Rotary Club of Summerlin to volunteer for some events, which will directly benefit the Pantry.  This April we volunteered to place T-shirts on seats prior to the Golden Knights game. We had a great time setting up, watching the Golden Knights practice, and getting to see the arena nearly empty, which not many people get to experience.

Get on our mailing list for more opportunities to serve the pantry by volunteering for these special events. Email us or give us a call.
